Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern the use of Aero Grades (aerogrades.com), a quiz and exam platform that flight schools use to train and assess their students. By registering a school or signing in to a school's question bank you agree to these terms.

If you use Aero Grades on behalf of a flight school, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that school.

2. Accounts and call signs

Each school receives a call sign when it registers. The call sign identifies the school and cannot be changed afterwards. Students reach their school's question bank by entering that call sign.

You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. School administrators are responsible for the students they invite and for the access periods they grant.

3. Your content

Questions, explanations, images, logos and student data uploaded by a school remain that school's property. We store and process them only to provide the service to that school.

You confirm you hold the rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe third-party rights. We may remove content that is unlawful or that breaches these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another school's data, circumvent access controls, scrape the platform, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful material. Do not attempt to extract exam answer keys other than through the normal grading flow.

Accounts that breach these rules may be suspended without notice.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Schools may start on a free trial. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and are subject to the student limits shown on the plan. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store card details.

Changing plan takes effect immediately and is prorated on your next invoice — an upgrade is charged pro rata, a downgrade produces a credit. Cancelling stops renewal at the end of the period you have already paid for, and access continues until that date. Payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Availability and support

We aim to keep Aero Grades available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages and events beyond our control may cause downtime.

Support is provided by email through the support form inside the admin area.

7. Liability

Aero Grades is a training aid. It does not replace an approved training organisation's syllabus, official examinations or regulatory obligations. Results within the platform carry no official standing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid by your school in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

A school may stop using the service at any time by cancelling its subscription and deleting its account. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or for non-payment.

After termination we delete school data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the admin area before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
